Inside Sales Representative

Overview

Matisse Software, developer of the Post-Relational SQL database, is seeking for an Inside Sales Representative. In this position you will be responsible for generating and qualifying a pipeline of new prospects and close sales throughout the US and Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Research and profile targeted companies, identify key contacts, uncover opportunities and set meetings for the appropriate sales staff to help drive business
  • Generate and close sale deals based on prospective customers through the company database and customer lists generated from the company seminars and other marketing activities
  • Prepare quotes and help facilitate closing additional business from existing accounts
  • Use salesforce.com CRM to document and drive activity and status
  • Prepare activity and forecast reports as required
  • Ability to identify and document prospect’s needs, expectations and priorities in order to determine appropriate sales person or action

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of Sales Experience in the software industry with a track record of success
  • Strong written and verbal skills a must with a strong business
  • Ability to grasp complex technology solutions and maintain an understanding of our marketplace including competitors
  • Experience with SalesForce.com is a plus
